This scene was inspired by dark academia and vintage interior design, as well as my own style. I started by creating the large main elements first, and worked my way down to the smaller props. Filling the bookcase was an interesting challenge since there was a large space to fill in a short time, without making it look repetitive. Creating the velvet material was another fun challenge since I had minimal knowledge of creating PBR shaders at the time. During the making of this project I learned how to create procedural shaders, and how to use lights more effectively.
